The Department of Community Services provides all the following services:

Parks and Facilities

• Coordinating with Public Works for daily maintenance on all sports fields and park structures

• Planning for New Facilities

• Preparing and applying for all Grants related to parks development or land acquisitions

• Upgrades for all existing facilities

• Budgeting and purchasing for all parks related expenditures

Community Events

• Planning, Creating, Advertising, Producing all Events

• All Township responsibilities for the LPGA

• Coordinate with our businesses on larger scale events i.e. Oktoberfest & Mayfest

• Planning of all day trips, bus trips, shopping, etc.

Recreation

• Township support to Volunteer community

• Organizations: GTAA, PAL, etc.

• Schedule all fields and facilities use

• Budget appropriations and expenditures for all Community Program

• Promote all new programs

• Promotion of youth activities

• Implement Summer Camp
