The Office of Senior and Social Services
is currently located in the Ambulance Squad building of the
Municipal Complex. Provided are a variety of services to meet the
needs and interests of the senior population, disabled persons, and
low-income individuals and families.
The office
provides services and programs such as:
- Classes, seminars, social
programs (i.e. crafts, health, cards)
- Senior luncheons
- Shopping excursions and trips to
various destinations
- Outreach services for the home
bound
- Indigent burial arrangements

Distribution of monthly calendar of
events
A
monthly calendar of events is
distributed to seniors with many interesting places to see and
things to do. Transportation is available for all events, including
local doctor visits.
Reservations are necessary and are taken on a first come,
first served basis. To sign up for an event or to arrange for
transportation please call (609) 652-9262.
Transportation to doctor’s appointments
and other locations in Atlantic County can also be scheduled through
the Atlantic County Transportation Department by calling
(609) 645-5910. Advanced notice of 14 days is needed.
